The foundation stone of Assembly of God Higher Secondary School was laid on September 20, 2000 at Napier Town, Jabalpur by the Founder of the School, the Late Reverend Dr. Kishan Singh and Mrs. Chandramani Singh, former Manager of AGHSS. The school began to function from July 2000 with more than 30 students. It initially started with the primary sections and with pace of time increased upto Senior Secondary classes.
The school is run and governed by Assembly of God Education Society, Jabalpur with its headquarter at AGNI, Kolkatta. Reverend Dinesh N. Ramtek is the present Chairman of Assembly of God Jabalpur.
The education imparted here is based essentially on the quintessence of Christian ideals and principles. It has a well qualified and dedicated teaching faculty who has the knowledge and skill to motivate and inspire the students in a unique manner.
Our level of success is determined by the pupil’s level of discipline and perseverance and by constant self discipline and self control. We yearn to develop greatness of moral character.
The curriculum framework is planned and designed to engage the students in an active and creative learning journey. The class wise examination system is an integral part of the curriculum for the overall assessment of the students.
The school actively participates in various cultural, academic and environmental programs as assigned by the Board throughout the academic session.
Meeting the learning needs of all students is a complex task which is achieved in a herculean manner at our school.
Our vision at Assembly of God Higher Secondary School, Jabalpur, is to empower students to acquire, demonstrate, articulate and value knowledge and skills that will support them, as lifelong learners, to participate and contribute to the community thereby making them good & valuable citizens.
The school also aims at building students of competence, conscience, compassion and commitment and providing an all round training in character building through a disciplined life.
